This is a challenging and uncertain time. Our lives and businesses are dramatically changing in response to COVID-19, and many companies have been placed in the difficult position to significantly reduce workforce capacity.
Whilst we are also working through this tough time ourselves, our team really want to help. So in response, we’ve developed a program to connect displaced employees with new job opportunities in emerging high demand industries.
What is Nextwave?
We’re working closely with leaders in the government, advisory and healthcare sectors who are scaling up their workforce and need people right now.
We are currently supporting people who have lost their jobs through this transition by providing job guidance and resources to connect them with new opportunities.
We hope this program will provide ongoing employment opportunities and livelihoods for our local people and contribute to the well being of our community.
In particular, our hospitals and other healthcare providers are scaling up for increased workloads and are currently seeking casual workers across the following areas:
- Hospitality and customer service
- Transport services
- Healthcare / medical administration
- Domestic or commercial cleaning
- Food preparation
- Aged and disability care
These employers are seeking workers with transferable skills and a desire to gain experience in growing sectors of the community.
How can you get involved?
If you are currently unemployed and would like to be part of the Nextwave program please send your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org
After you contact us to register your interest, we will review your resume, look for opportunities within our program and follow-up with suitable jobs.
If you are currently seeking to scale-up your workforce – we can help. Please contact us on 02 4905 0130.
We manage all aspects of recruitment and selection to allow you to focus on the immediate needs of your core business during this period of increased demand.
We can be flexible to your needs as we appreciate that this is an unprecedented situation and our intention is to work together for the best outcomes of our community.
Hoping we can help you in the coming days and weeks.
